The Faculty of Law, Chulalongkorn University, in collaboration with the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, and the University of Exeter, co-hosted the “Government Legal Advisors’ Roundtable on National Positions on International Law and Cyber Activities: Asia–Pacific Perspectives” on 4–5 March 2026 at the Faculty of Law, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok.

The roundtable convened diplomats, legal advisers, and leading experts from across the Asia–Pacific region to engage in in-depth discussions on the strategy, process, substance, and regional dimensions of developing and articulating national positions on the application of international law to cyber activities.

It also sought to strengthen regional dialogue and cooperation on determining states’ stances in cyberspace, with a view to fostering greater convergence and, ultimately, the development of a common position in the future.
