Coding the Code (of Law)! We welcomed our new class of LLBel students with an updated Law, Businesss, and Tech Bootcamp.

On day one, students were introduced to precise logical thinking through programming. They tackled law-inspired coding challenges both in groups and individually. After just a couple of hours of experience, each student got hands-on practice fixing a program that determines whether a person has reached the age of majority under the Thai Civil and Commercial Code.

On day two, students explored the tech and business worlds, learning product management, product design, and experimentation. They participated in interactive activities, including a SWOT analysis of hypothetical AI companies.

On the third day, students examined the intersection of tech and law, focusing on data privacy and intellectual property. They reflected on how law influences tech and vice versa, and how legal concepts must adapt in a rapidly evolving world. The bootcamp concluded with a group project: building a program inspired by legal issues and creating a business plan to turn it into a viable product.

While off-campus in Pattaya, students had the chance to bond with their peers through fictional crime-solving activities led by second-years. Separate panel sessions were also organized to address questions as students prepared to begin their university journey.
